House Rolled Cigars

Cigar Haven stands apart from any cigar store in the Mid-West. This may be ego, but it is true. Not only do we offer an outstanding assortment of cigars and accessories, but we have on-site cigar rolling

In May of 2006, I went to Bobalu University in Austin, Texas. I was schooled in the art of cigar rolling by Miguel Mejias and Damarie Tachin, both Cuban immigrants. They both rolled cigars at the Romeo & Julieta Factory in Havanna, Cuba for almost 18 years.

Their patience was severly tested. Rolling a cigar might look simple, but . . . Folks it is not. At Cigar Haven, you can see raw tobacco leaf transformed into a cigar. I will even let you sit down at the rolling table and give it a go. Attempting to roll your own cigar will give you a true appreciation of a well-made cigar. What is Ligero Leaf? What is Seco?
